Job Description :

The Semiconductor Process Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing chemical and gas processes used in semiconductor applications, with a focus on advanced logic device fabrication. The role involves designing and executing experiments, process characterization, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure quality and efficiency in semiconductor process development.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Development and Optimization

• Develop and characterize processes on semiconductor equipment in the applications lab or at customer sites for advanced logic device fabrication.
• Design and execute process optimization experiments ; analyze and compile test data to establish limits and specifications for equipment, processes, or materials.

Collaboration and Customer Support

• Work closely with internal teams, including product, sales, and marketing groups, to prepare modifications and improvements for customer adoption.
• Act as a technical interface with customer engineers and managers, managing input for customer demonstrations and integration experiments.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure the quality execution of experiments and material processing, including internal process development and customer demonstrations.
• Coordinate activities in the applications lab, such as maintenance, troubleshooting, and process development .

Strategic Integration

• Participate in various integration and strategic activities relevant to products and customers in collaboration with internal business units.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• Master s or Bachelor s degree in Materials Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering , or a related field in semiconductor process development.

Experience:

• 2+ years of semiconductor process experience in areas such as vacuum, plasma, photolithography, or high-energy ion-beam technologies .
• Experience with process characterization and data analysis preferred.

Technical Expertise:

• Expertise in surface analysis and thin film metrology .
• Familiarity with semiconductor process areas such as physical vapor deposition and etch technology development .

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel internationally (<25%) for development, training, and customer support.
