Job Description Remote OR Hybrid : Reporting where work can/needs to be performed / collaboration should happen. If the person lives w/n 50 miles of such a location, they are expected to come in three times a week. If they do not live withing 50 miles of any of those locations, they don't need to report in. This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of GM Global Technical Center- Sloan Engineering Center or Mountainview Technical Center, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum. The General Motors Interface Design team is dedicated to inventing, designing, and delivering our core software experiences in our vehicles and across our 1st party apps and branded websites.? About the Role The Lead Producer will be responsible for enabling the operational frameworks of the GM interface design team, inclusive of processes, and best practices. Acting as a liaison between Product Management, Engineering, Program Management and the Car Studio, the Lead Producer will ensure seamless collaboration and successful outcomes. This role requires strong attention to detail, a keen eye for aesthetics, multitasking abilities, and a problem-solving mindset to define what makes a great product. The Lead Producer will oversee a complex workflow in close collaboration with a team of specialists focused on delivering exceptional user experiences through research and implementation. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate, iterate, and launch new product experiences at scale. Utilize strong storytelling skills to influence design intent across various specialized teams and levels within the design interface team. Showcase a portfolio that highlights your workflow process, creative IQ, and problem-solving abilities. Possess 8+ years of experience in program and project management, utilizing multiple methodologies within software design teams. Demonstrate a commitment to designing inclusive and accessible products. Additional Job Description Qualifications: Previous experience working with software design teams to develop software applications, and websites at scale. Digital experience in the mobility and in-car industries is a plus. Knowledge of user interface design, interaction design, and visual design principles. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in managing multiple projects, resources, schedules, and content management. Ability to deliver high-quality design solutions in an ever-evolving creative environment. COMPENSATION : The median level of salary $137,000 to 214,300 compensation for this role is Annually BONUS POTENTIAL : An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
