Job Description

Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking a Property Accountant for a client in Raleigh. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of various investments and supporting the asset management and finance departments of the firm. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile all bank, money market, and investment accounts.
• Reconcile company credit card statements.
• Perform treasury and cash management operations.
• Prepare accurate and complete financial statements and reports.
• Assist in negotiating and analyzing loan proposals and refinancing opportunities for projects.
• Interpret and abstract details from loan, lease, and partnership agreements.
• Respond to investor inquiries and fulfill financial requests.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of work experience in accounting, preferably in property or asset management.
• Experience with Yardi property management accounting software is preferred.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
