Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Construction Quality Control (CQC) Manager with proven experience managing quality assurance on Federal construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the project-specific Quality Control Plan, Infection Control Plan, ensuring compliance with VA standards, and coordinating with project teams to deliver high-quality results. Must be team player who is willing to take on all responsibilities necessary to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the project Quality Control Plan in accordance with VA specifications.
  • Conduct and document inspections, tests, and audits throughout all phases of construction.
  • Coordinate with the VA’s Resident Engineer and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with contract documents.
  • Maintain daily quality control reports and submittal logs.
  • Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up meetings for all definable features of work.
  • Ensure all subcontractors and trades adhere to quality standards and safety protocols.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CQC Manager on federal construction projects.
  • Experience with NAVFAC projects major plus .
  • USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractor's certification.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Familiarity with Procore, RMS 3.0, or other construction management software.
  • Experience with LEED or sustainable construction practices.
