Position Overview

GreenLife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse Clinical Reviewer for a non-profit organization located in Lake Success, NY . Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical reviews, including chart screening and appeal-level reviews
  • Research and apply regulatory guidance and insurer requirements
  • Complete electronic worksheets and prepare final determination reports
  • Serve as a resource for training and technical assistance to clinical and administrative staff
  • Lead or participate in team huddles and collaborative training sessions
  • Support continuous improvement in review processes and workflow
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Registered Nurse in New York State
  • BSN or graduate of an approved RN training program
  • 1–3 years of experience in utilization review or appeals
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs)
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Team-oriented, problem-solving mindset
  • Experience in a medical-legal review setting is a plus
