We are looking for a talented and compassionate Virtual Sign Language Interpreter to support deaf and hard-of-hearing students in an engaging virtual classroom setting. This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact by connecting with students and providing essential services no matter their location. As a fully remote role, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the country, all while using innovative teletherapy tools to enhance student accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, real-time sign language interpretation for deaf and hard-of-hearing students during virtual lessons.
Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and school administrators to understand the specific needs of each student.
Ensure a professional and confidential environment during all virtual interactions.
Tailor your interpretation to suit each student's unique communication style and needs.
Manage schedules, assignments, and communication through our user-friendly online platform.

Qualifications:

Must hold a valid Sign Language Interpreter license with an EIPA score of 3.5 or higher.
At least 2 years of experience as a sign language interpreter in an educational setting.
Comfortable with virtual interpreting technologies and online platforms.
