School Secretary/Administrative Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer the school lunch program in coordination with the local school district and food service vendor

• Prepare and distribute a weekly online school newsletter

• Coordinate and secure substitute teachers as needed

• Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing student records

• Collaborate closely with the other part-time secretary to ensure smooth office operations

• Fulfill other duties as directed by the principal

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and online communication tools

• Highly organized and able to multitask in a busy school environment

• Previous experience in a school or office setting preferred

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold the values of a Catholic school community

• Must complete Safe Environment Training offered by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check
