About the Role

As an SEO Specialist, you’ll develop, implement, and optimize SEO strategies tailored to each client’s unique goals. Success in this role requires strong technical SEO knowledge, content strategy expertise, and analytical skills to monitor and improve performance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive SEO audits to identify opportunities for growth, including technical, on-page, and off-page factors.
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies aligned with client goals to improve organic visibility and drive traffic.
  • Perform keyword research and analysis to identify high-value terms for content optimization and strategy.
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and images for search engines.
  • Collaborate with content teams to create and optimize high-quality, keyword-rich content that aligns with SEO best practices.
  • Monitor and manage backlink strategies, including outreach and link-building campaigns.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure technical SEO improvements, such as site speed, crawlability, and mobile-friendliness.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog to track and analyze SEO performance.
  • Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.


Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices to ensure strategies remain effective.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • 2+ years of experience in SEO, with proven success in improving organic traffic and search rankings.
    • Agency experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in SEO tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
    • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic website development principles.
    • Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow).
    • Understanding of technical SEO factors such as site architecture, schema markup, and page speed optimization.
  • Analytical Skills:
    • Strong ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
    • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions.
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
    • Collaborative and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
