As a **Security Professional - Financial Patrol** in **San Mateo, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more . As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with customer inquiries, and maintaining open communication with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a secure environment by responding promptly to situations and upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. **Position Type: Full Time** **Pay Rate: $23.10 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Mon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM **Responsibilities:** + Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within financial institution locations. + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity. + Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. + Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies. + Support emergency response activities and follow established protocols during incidents. + Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations. **Minimum Requirements:** + **Minimum 1 year of Security experience required.** + **California Security Guard Card is preferred.** + **A valid Guard Card/License is preferred.** + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Perks and Benefits:** + Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions + Schedules that fit with your personal life goals + Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities + Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more...
