Overview:

Security Supervisor
The Security Supervisor’s main function is to provide a friendly and safe environment for guests and team members while protecting company assets.

 

Responsibilities:

• Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees
• Exercise good judgment in solving problems and resolution of guest issues
• Uphold and enforce gaming regulations, company policies, and procedures, as well as all Federal and State laws and regulations
• Read, interpret, and analyze security reports and other company documents daily
• Based on location, may be required to conduct investigations into a variety of internal and external incidents and create detailed reports to reflect findings
• Monitor incidents resulting in loss and investigate to determine the source of the loss
• Work a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the operation, including nights and weekends when necessary
• Maintain a high level of key control for the facility
• Prepare and implement daily work schedules
• Evaluate department staff job duties
• Prepare detailed incident reports in a clear and precise manner
• Review all incident reports submitted by Security Officers for accuracy
• Coordinate emergency situations
• Evaluate the performance of officers and provide direction, coaching, counseling and recognition to ensure successful performance
• Patrol the property on assigned shift, identifying potential security and/or safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate persons, to ensure the safety and protection of guests, employees and the entire facility

Qualifications:

• At least one year or more of security experience in a high-volume hotel or casino
• Must be at least 21 years of age
