  • Provide expert feedback and guidance to analysts and cross-functional teams, ensuring robust methodologies and interpretations.

  • Independently verify data integrity and analytical outcomes, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.

  • Collaborate closely with product and client-facing teams, integrating high-quality reviewed analyses into customer insights.

  • Own decision-making and on-time delivery of data and assessments that meet the highest standards of technical excellence.

Your profile

  • Experience : 6+ years of proven technical experience specifically focused on water risk assessment and hydrological analyses.

  • Technical skills : Expert-level GIS proficiency, strong analytical and interpretative capabilities, and extensive experience managing large, complex datasets.

  • Education : Degree (Masters preferred) in a water-related science or engineering discipline.

  • Mindset: You are proactive and hands-on with a collaborative and iterative continuous improvement mindset and approach. You are autonomous, meticulous, decisive, and capable of independently ensuring technical quality in dynamic environments.

  • Location : Americas or Europe, remote.

  • Language: Fluency in English required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.

Why Join Waterplan?

  • Impactful Mission: Contribute to a meaningful cause with a clear vision of fostering a water-secure future.

  • Dynamic Team: Work alongside a talented and passionate team dedicated to making a difference.

  • Growth Opportunity: Be at the forefront of our industry's growth, shaping the future of water security and sustainability.

  • Culture & Values: Enjoy a remote working environment with unlimited PTO, rooted in our core values of Long-Term Thinking, Iterative Excellence, Thoughtful Discussion, Making Others Successful, and Guided by Nature.
