PsychiaTreat, a leading provider of mental health care in Nassau County, is seeking a Software Engineer to drive innovation in patient care and operational efficiency. This role is a unique opportunity to develop applications that enhance the patient experience, streamline back-office workflows, and improve mental health accessibility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, operations, and front desk staff, to build impactful solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, maintain, and optimize software applications for patient engagement, provider workflows, and telehealth services.
  
• Work with diverse teams to identify pain points and implement efficient, scalable solutions.
  
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare security standards.
  
• Support and troubleshoot internal tools to improve efficiency across departments.
  

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of software development experience with a strong understanding of modern web and backend technologies.
  
• 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
  
• 2+ years of experience in open source frameworks
  
• Proficiency in Linux and experience working in cloud-based or on-prem environments.
  
• Experience with relational databases (SQL), including writing queries to pull and aggregate data efficiently.
  
• Ability to collaborate with non-technical teams, gather requirements, and deliver intuitive solutions.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for improving healthcare through technology.
  
• Experience in healthcare tech or HIPAA-compliant applications is a plus.
