Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the design and analysis of various structural projects, contributing to the development of innovative solutions. This position is ideal for entry level candidates or individuals with limited experience who are eager to learn and grow within the field of civil engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Produce structural design calculations for building structural components including foundations. Typical components include steel, masonry, concrete, and wood materials.
• Assist in basic interpretation and verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices.
• Analyze building structures with 3D computer software.
• Modify design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Assist the team in providing support services during construction including submittal reviews, responses to requests for information, and contract document clarifications.
• Work collaboratively with the internal design team preparing designs and drawings.

Qualifications:

• BS in engineering, MS preferred.
• Experience in structural analysis and designs, including intern or co-op experience preferred.
• EIT Certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Efficient work ethic to complete tasks on time and within budgets.
• Must be flexible and adapt easily to changing priorities, work independently or in a team environment, with a strong attention to detail.
