Job Description

Aramark Sports & Entertainment is seeking a Suites Director for Xfinity Mobile Arena (formerly Wells Fargo Center) in Philadelphia, PA.

The Suites Director is a leadership position which leads all aspects of suite solutions and special events at the location. This position will lead the suites team to complete events food and beverage requests and have suite attendants servicing the suites at the highest level. The Suite Director will be responsible for leading a team of suite managers to feel confident in making decisions, working closely with union employees and upholding the standards set with the client.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and complete suites and premium dining solutions to meet customers’ needs

• Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport

• Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events

• Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event orders all pre-orders and event day orders as well as overall look and health and safety standards.

• Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients’ needs – helping the admin team suggestively sell and proving tips and insights at pre-shift meetings to help the suite attendants do so during events as well. Working in close communication with culinary team for consistency and innovation.

• Train and lead suites and premium employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed ensuring quality in final presentation

• Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to team and provide quality assurance all requests are met prior to event

• Responsible for delivering food and labor targets

• Responsible for execution of stadium events of varied size and scope including staffing and management

• Ensure accurate reporting of all suites related revenue, expenses, and receivables

• Recruit, train, schedule and develop team members while in compliance with union guidelines.

• Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies

Qualifications

• Requires at least 5 years of experience

• Prior experience in a management or supervisory role required

• Previous experience in events, hospitality, premium and catering preferred

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Available to work event-based hours

• Must have excellent communications skills

• Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required

• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
