**   This is a temporary 1099 role **

So, what will the Temporary Exterminator at Terrestris do?

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Temporary Exterminator to assist in identifying, controlling, and eliminating various pests from residential, commercial, or industrial properties. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in pest control or a willingness to be trained, and be available to work on a temporary basis to support increased demand or specific extermination projects.

What does a typical day look like for the Temporary Exterminator?

You will:

  • Inspect buildings and premises for signs of pests or infestations.
  • Identify the type and extent of pest problems.
  • Apply appropriate pesticides or traps according to safety standards and regulations.
  • Use mechanical means such as traps, sealing, and exclusion techniques to eliminate pests.
  • Educate on-site personnel on preventive pest control measures.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments and chemicals used.
  • Ensure all treatments comply with local, state, and federal safety laws and regulations.
  • Wear and maintain appropriate protective equipment.
  • Clean and store tools and equipment after use.

What qualifications do you look for?

  • The authorization to work in the United States permanently, without sponsorship.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in pest control.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
  • Physical stamina to work in tight, high, or potentially hazardous environments.
  • Willingness to handle pesticides and traps.
  • Possession of applicable state-mandated pest control certification/licensure.
