As a Comfort Through Song Volunteer , you’ll play a pivotal role in easing pain and anxiety—not through medicine, but through melody.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide live music at the bedside for hospice patients, using voice or instruments
  
• Choose or adapt songs that promote relaxation, memory recall, or emotional expression
  
• Offer companionship and emotional presence, especially for patients who may not have family nearby
  
• Document visits and communicate with our care team to support holistic care plans
  
• Receive training on hospice care principles, communication, and boundaries

Who You Are:

• A musician, vocalist, or student with a gift for connecting through music
  
• Respectful, calm, and emotionally present in sensitive situations
  
• Able to travel up to 35 miles to visit patients in homes, memory care, or assisted living
  
• Committed to reliability, professionalism, and compassionate service
