Position Purpose: 

Responsible for scheduling and manifesting transportation and disposal for all PTA outbound site waste. Includes complying, reviewing, and keying inventory data into automated systems. Track and maintain inbound and outbound manifest records in an efficient and effective manner. Also, reviews and reconciles a variety of monthly waste related reports and distributes them to appropriate personnel.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

The Waste Tracking Coordinator position is primarily responsible for scheduling and manifesting day to day transportation & disposal for all site waste outbound loads into Veolia and other 3rd party landfills. A secondary responsibility is to serve in a relief role for the Security Guard position, responsible for contractor, visitor and driver entry into the facility. Site Waste and Security work together managing the outbound site waste program at PTA.

• Compile data from operating records, review for errors and determine corrections in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures.
• Enter daily inventory movements into the facility inventory tracking system.
• Enter daily material movements into the AS400 to complete the waste tracking to the final outbound site.
• Provide daily movement and inventory reports for waste preparation prior to routing to appropriate personnel and locations.
• On a scheduled basis key-in physical inventory and review for errors. Reconcile and/or resolve errors with appropriate operations personnel in accordance with procedures.
• Completes a variety of summary reports pertaining to inventory reconciliation and creates miscellaneous reports on an as-needed basis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:

• High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required DOT certification required.
• Associate's degree in a related field referred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Computer proficiency in Iseries, AS400, Microsoft Office Suites and Lotus Notes.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer orientation.
