Join Team CARFAX as a 3D Animator/Generalist - 6 month TEMP opportunity

What you’ll be doing: 

Bring Car Fox to life

• Create visually appealing animations/poses of our mascot, Car Fox, for short and long-form video, marketing materials, and for integration into our products
• Apply 3D assets within motion, product, and brand projects
• Bring an excellent sense of scale, timing, detail, lighting, and color

Be a creative visionary for the Carfax Brand and Car Fox

• Translate creative briefs into deliverables
• Identify areas in production pipelines for improvement
• Participate in building and implementing workflow updates

Join a multidisciplinary brand team

• Collaborate with the team on the execution of both large and small-scale projects
• Partner with other members (animators, videographers, and designers) of the brand team to accomplish overall marketing goals

What we’re looking for: 

• 3+ years of 3D character animation experience in a film, TV, games, or in-house animation team
• General experience/understanding in multiple aspects of the 3D production pipeline, such as lighting, clothing, groom, or compositing
• Expertise in Autodesk Maya
• Proficiency with Blender and Unreal Engine a plus
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Bonus: Technical experience with simulations (cloth and hair or fur) and/or rigging

A portfolio is required for consideration.
