Role Overview:
The After Hours Care Coordinator is responsible for assisting the leadership team by providing exceptional home care services during evenings, weekends, and holidays, outside of regular office hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls outside of regular office hours (weekdays from 4:30 pm - 8:00 am, weekends/holidays 8:00 am - 8:00 am).
Resolve client service and scheduling issues efficiently and professionally.
Monitor the after-hours email and care log to ensure smooth operations.
Serve as a fill-in caregiver when shifts cannot be filled. (Caregiving hours are well compensated.)
Complete additional tasks as requested by office staff.
Additional Requirements:
Must have reliable phone service and internet access during shifts.
Availability to respond to incoming calls and resolve issues as needed.
When not engaged with calls or tasks, on-call staff can use their time as they see fit, as long as they remain available.
Current certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), Registered Nurse, or equivalent experience is required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required.
At least 1 year of experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
A genuine passion for helping seniors stay safe and independent.
Valid driver's license, reliable insured vehicle, and smartphone.
Ability to complete a driving record and background check.
Compensation:
Weekdays: 2.5 hours at $25/hour = $62.50/day
Weekends: 4 hours at $25/hour = $100/day
Holidays: 5 hours at $25/hour = $125/day
Additional hours worked beyond the guaranteed time will be compensated at $25/hour.
