Job Description

Description We are currently seeking an API Consultant to support our ITSM platform, Freshservice, and broader automation initiatives. This is not a full-time or contractual role, but rather an occasional engagement-someone our client can reach out to for support with complex or specialized API-related tasks as they arise. While direct experience with Freshservice is not required, a strong understanding of APIs and integration best practices is essential. Key Responsibilities: + Rebuild and expand automation for inviting external users/domains, replacing manual Helpdesk processes. + Restore and enhance previously implemented flows that are no longer maintained. + Support the anticipated growth in Teams-based collaboration spaces. + Develop scalable API-driven solutions beyond Freshservice's native capabilities. + Assist with complex workspace requests from internal stakeholders. + Provide technical leadership for API-based integrations and automation. + Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to support rollout and integration. + Conduct a comprehensive review of Freshservice setup, including workspace structure and automation opportunities. + Automate data transfer visibility and termination workflows to improve security and efficiency. + Audit existing workflows for alignment with industry best practices. + Recommend and implement scalable improvements. + Design and implement a structured alert management system to reduce noise and unnecessary escalations.
