Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to underwrite investment opportunities across PEJC.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal memoranda and other materials used to support investment recommendations and to communicate with internal constituents.
  • Assist with monitoring the performance of existing portfolio investments including regular communication with private equity firms management teams and third-party clients.
  • Develop and manage relationships with private equity firms and other intermediaries to generate investment deal flow.
  • Participate in due diligence meetings with sponsors and portfolio company executives.


Additional Requirements

  • Capital markets structuring experience with a preference for a background in private equity mezzanine finance leveraged loans equity research secondaries or M&A.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and using financial statement analysis and financial modeling.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and finance.
  • Excellent analytical communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to work hard in a team-oriented performance-based environment.
  • A self-starter that requires limited oversight in the completion of individual projects.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field.

Work Experience

  • 1 - 4 years of relevant experience including a private equity fund hedge fund investment bank consulting firm or a related capital markets position.
