Detailing Project Manager: This is where you come in.

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Detailing Project Manager with a passion for project coordination, BIM management, and lean construction processes. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making a direct impact on project success, this is the role for you. As a Detailing Project Manager , you will be instrumental in managing project needs within our Detailing and Operations Department. You’ll oversee BIM scheduling and processes, lead Pull Plan meetings, and drive the Design-to-Fabrication process across various projects. This role requires close collaboration with Field Project Management teams to ensure smooth coordination from project kickoff to completion. Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:

  • Project Management – Successfully manage and coordinate multiple projects through the Detailing/BIM phase, ensuring on-time delivery and quality outcomes.
  • VDC/BIM Scheduling – Take ownership of BIM scheduling and coordination, aligning project timelines with key goals to ensure seamless execution.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration – Collaborate closely with Project Management and Field Teams, fostering smooth project execution and effective communication across all departments.
  • Process Improvement – Lead internal initiatives to enhance and streamline detailing, coordination, and fabrication processes, driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

The Detailing Project Manager reports directly to Henry Lewellen, Detailing Manager, and works as part of a collaborative team supporting a wide range of projects and initiatives to fuel our growing business. This role offers high visibility and provides the opportunity to engage with individuals across all levels and functions within the organization.

Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?

You should have…

  • For the Jr. Project Manager role, 3 to 5 years of project management experience in the mechanical/construction industry. For the Sr. Project Manager role, 6 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong technical proficiency, including expertise in BIM coordination, Navisworks, and other industry-standard tools.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for identifying and solving problems early, while driving team success.

Benefits

Compensation:

  • Jr. Project Manager (3 to 5 years of experience) – $77,000 to $100,000 annually
  • Sr. Project Manager (6 to 10 years of experience) – $97,000 to $126,000 annually
