Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S) Joint Venture (JV) is seeking a proven, high performing
Industrial Engineer to fill this key role supporting a dynamic and growing joint venture. Ours is a noble mission with a vision and purpose focused on production of Iron Dome/SkyHunter major end items to fulfill requirements of identified worldwide customers.

The selected candidate will help to establish the physical layout of machinery and the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow. Plans the sequence of operations and procedures and documents manufacturing standard work and routings. Plans the
allocation of resources, materials and personnel to establish maximum utilization of equipment. Performs research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification or electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems. Conducts studies
pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. May assist facilities engineers (planning and design of facilities) and materials logistics (packaging design).
Responsibilities to Anticipate : - Read and understand engineering drawings.
- Generate technical documentation.
- Develop and monitor manufacturing workflows, processes, and routers.
- Create and maintain work instructions and associated documentation.
- Model factory operations and evaluate “what if” scenarios.
- Track production actuals against plan and perform trend analyses.
- Forge teaming relationships and partner with all levels of Operations and Manufacturing stakeholders.
- Training and mentoring junior staff.
Basic Qualifications : - Typically requires a related university degree with industry experience or a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: - Green Belt Certification.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Project, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Knowledge of FlexSim or other modeling software.
- Familiarity with SAP, Eyelit, and MiniTab, or similar software.
- Experience working on engineering level programs from conceptual phase, preproduction phase, to production build; designing control systems to reduce cost and manage production issues.
- Work with minimal supervision, good problem-solving abilities as well as keen analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong Oral and Communication Skills.
Work Location: Camden, Arkansas (relocation support available)
Travel: 0 - 5% mainly within the United States.
