Job description 1. Deep nCino and Salesforce Expertise Deep hands-on experience with configuration, development, and integration. Proven experience architecting and optimizing nCino on Salesforce. Strong grasp of both declarative and programmatic capabilities (Apex, Lightning, APIs). In-depth knowledge of nCino data models, workflows, automation, and integration points. Hands-on with Apex, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, and tools like MuleSoft or Informatica. 2. Financial Services and Banking Domain Knowledge Strong understanding of financial services workflows and regulatory requirements. Background in commercial banking, loan origination, treasury management, etc. Ability to translate banking requirements into scalable, compliant nCino solutions. 3. Solution Architecture and Strategic Planning Ability to design, plan, and optimize scalable, secure, and compliant solutions. Leads architectural vision and ensures alignment with business goals. Designs end-to-end solutions and manages complex customizations and integrations. Skilled in fit/gap analysis, LOE estimation, and identifying downstream risks. Proficient in creating architecture diagrams, data flow visuals, and system interaction maps to communicate solution design effectively. 4. Integration and Data Management Proven experience with APIs, middleware, data modeling, system integrations, and integration security. Expertise in integrating nCino with external systems via APIs, middleware, or ETL. Strong data modeling, querying (SQL, SOQL), and conversion experience. Familiar with versioning, deployment, and release management practices. 5. Development Leadership Acts as a hands-on development lead, guiding implementation teams on best practices. Conducts code reviews, enforces coding standards, and ensures technical quality. Mentors developers and supports technical troubleshooting and performance tuning. Balances architecture responsibilities with sprint-level execution and delivery oversight. 6. Leadership, Collaboration, and Communication Cross-team collaboration, senior leadership/customer-facing skills, and effective communication. Leads cross-functional teams and collaborates with stakeholders across disciplines. Communicates technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Builds trusted client relationships and provides training/support to end-users. Able to present architecture diagrams and solution options to executive stakeholders with clarity and confidence. 7. Certifications Relevant nCino and Salesforce certifications; commitment to continuous learning. Preferred: nCino Admin/Advanced Config, Salesforce Admin, Platform Dev, Application/System Architect. 8. Additional Qualities Analytical, self-driven, organized, and familiar with Agile/DevOps practices. Creative problem-solver with strong organizational skills. Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiar with Agile/Scrum and DevOps (CI/CD, version control).
