Shape trends and ignite your imagination as our Textile Designer . In this newly created role, you'll be challenged to develop new and original textile and fabric designs and prints for each retail season, collaborating with a skilled team of apparel design professionals.

Textile Designer – What You Will Do

You will create unique textile designs and work alongside an experienced team of apparel designers. You will:

• Create unique textile fabric/prints for yarn-dyed, knits, and fabrics including repeat patterns
• Draw new motifs, create multiple color ways of existing designs, and arrange layouts in the CAD
• Create original designs for fashion apparel for every retail season (Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter)
• Evaluate prints, handlooms, strike-offs
• Research and interpret emerging trends and best practices to create seasonal designs that follow brand aesthetic
• Prioritize multiple design projects while meeting tight deadlines

Textile Designer – Required Skills, Experience & Personality Fit

• You are tech-savvy and very experienced using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and other design software
• You have experience in textile and print design, and understand technical aspects of apparel design
• You understand textiles, fabrics, fibers, and how prints different fibers will take prints
• You are proactive, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Can provide an updated professional portfolio of your past work, including original designs, prints and patterns
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Fashion Design, Costume Design, or related field of study
• You are happy to work in office, Monday through Friday in Fort Worth, Texas

Textile Designer – You Might Have

• Experience with eCommerce fashion merchandise

Compensation $58,656 salary, depending on experience.
