Water Damage Restoration Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and service-driven Restoration Technician to join our field team. This position focuses on property damage restoration, including water mitigation, mold remediation, and fire/smoke damage cleanup and will also include carpet, tile/grout, upholstery cleaning activities.

The ideal candidate is customer focused, hands-on, detail-oriented, thrives in fast-paced environments with a strong work ethic and great attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls for water, mold, and fire/smoke damage
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and dehumidification
• Perform mold remediation (containment, HEPA vacuuming, demo, etc.)
• Operate and maintain restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA air scrubbers)
• Set up containment and negative air environments
• Document job progress with moisture readings, photos, and digital job notes
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers on-site
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
• Work on an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies (as needed)
• Be available to do carpet, tile/grout, upholstery cleaning calls.

Required Qualifications

• IICRC Certification (WRT, AMRT, FSRT, etc.)
• 1+ year experience in property restoration, demolition, or construction required, 5+ years preferred
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, attics, or crawlspaces
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Comfortable using mobile apps to document work
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Strong Team player

Preferred Qualifications

• Experienced in Carpet Cleaning, Tile/Grout Cleaning and Upholstery Cleaning
• Experience with Truck Mount and Portable systems.
• Texas Mold Remediation Contractor License
